Nature Made Daily Boost Program

When I made my New Year’s Resolutions this year, I didn’t include anything for wellness.  I thought I had that covered pretty good already.  Reflecting on the first few months of this year, I realize I don’t have it covered and I have some room for improvement.  I need a bit of help and encouragement so I’ve signed up for the Nature Made Daily Boost Program.  Nature Made describes a Daily Boost as something small that makes a big difference.  I’m on board with that!

I love transformation in every form.  Whether it’s at work, at home, my body…. I like to see and feel continuous changes that bring improvements.  However, transformation is rarely an overnight event (it would be nice though, wouldn’t it?) Transformation is something that happens with persistence and small actions.  Eventually, enough actions affect positive change.  One day, you look back and realize you’ve reached an achievement or made significant improvements.  That is an incredibly rewarding feeling and motivation to keep making positive changes.

Daily Boost Nature Made Program

When I think about my body, I trust what Nature Made has to say and contribute when it comes to wellness.  Nature Made is the nation’s #1 best-selling brand for quality vitamins, minerals and supplements* to help support nutritional gaps.  Also, Nature Made is the #1 Pharmacist recommended supplement brand in 9 categories**.  Not too shabby, right?  I picked up some pointers from The Daily Boost Program and I assessed my “need state”.  After doing so, I decided to introduce a couple daily vitamins to boost my wellness and improve how I feel.

Walmart is just up the street from my office so I dropped in on my lunch hour to pick out my new vitamins.  Prices were great as was the Walmart selection.  I usually  wait for a sale to purchase something like this but Walmart’s prices are always low.    I also use their Savings Catcher to guarantee I’m getting the best price on things I purchase at Walmart that are covered under their savings program.

Nature Made Vitamins Healthy

My First Nature Made Daily Boost: Vitamin C

Vitamin C provides so many benefits.  Why I wasn’t using this supplement daily, I  don’t know!  I bought the chewable vitamins and they actually taste good too.  I guess I failed to realize all the benefits Vitamin C offers and how much my body needs it.  It is water soluble and must be replenished daily.  Vitamin C is an antioxidant which helps neutralize free radicals in the body.  I didn’t know this but it also plays a key role in the synthesis of collagen which helps support healthy skin.  I’m looking for all the collagen support I can get these days and I didn’t realize this was an added benefit of taking a Vitamin C supplement.  I feel better about myself knowing I’ve added this positive boost in my life.

My Nature Made Daily Boost: Vitamin B12

My life is very busy and I feel like I’m always on the go.  While this is my second pick, it’s not less important than my first pick.  There are days where I can literally feel myself drained of energy.  When this happens at work, I panic.  A full day ahead and no energy?  I can’t have that.  Sometimes, I don’t sleep well either and that just adds to my stress.  I’ve got a snoring dog, a six year old that appears in the middle of the night, cats leaping around… I can lose hours of sleep some nights!  A Vitamin B12 supplement can help regulate my energy as it helps convert the food I eat into cellular energy.

Vitamin B12 is also important for proper red blood cell formation and normal function of the nervous system.  Healthy nervous system?   Yes, please!  Stress is a big factor in my life and I am always looking for ways to manage it better.  I’ve been taking Vitamin B12 and so far I am not having that feeling of drained energy.  I think the Vitamin B12 is helping me so I’m definitely continuing with it.   I also like that the Nature Made Vitamin B12 is a timed release.

Influencer Central (I-C) is hosting a contest and  you can enter to win one of (20) $50 Walmart gift cards.  You can definitely get some new supplements for yourself with that cash!  The contest runs from 3/22 and closes 4/12.  *I-C will randomly select 20 winners from all program entries and will handle fulfillment of the winning prizes.

Nature Made Wellness 5

5 Healthy Habits To Try

In addition to my new supplements, I’ve been introducing more healthy boosters as I participate in the Nature Made Daily Boost Program.  It has me inspired to think outside the box!  Here are some additional wellness tips I’ve implemented in the past couple weeks.

green tea bags to treat skin redness

  1. Smaller Plates – We use paper plates all the time.  I’ve purchased one size smaller so we are all more likely to eat proper portion sizes.
  2. Lavender Oil – I add a few drops of essential lavender oil to the bath at night to help me relax and get better sleep.
  3. Green Tea – I’m brewing green tea, flavoring it with fresh peppermint, and keeping it in my refrigerator so I don’t reach for the diet soda.
  4. Eating Wild – I’m purchasing meats from animals that were not grain fed but rather fed according to what their natural diet would be.
  5. Eating Breakfast – I’m not skipping breakfast in order to skip calories anymore.  I’m choosing fruits or yogurt to start my day.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Nature Made Daily Boost Program!  I’ve included the link here.  Instead of commenting on this post, head on over there!  There are lots of additional tips in the member community.  Definitely check it out!
