It’s always exciting when new products and beauty brands emerge. As a beauty lover, I am always browsing Sephora and other beauty sites to see what’s new. Guess what? Something extraordinary is on the horizon! Farmacy Beauty has launched a natural line of skin care products that bring you up close to the farm where ingredients are grown and harvested. Farm to table has been a big movement in the restaurant industry and Farmacy Beauty is about as close to farm to table as you could get in the beauty world. This innovative new company is farming and hand-picking their botanicals to create naturally derived and fresh products that are cruelty-free. The laboratory where the plants are processed is just two hours from the farm so consumers are getting extraordinary freshness and up close with nature.
If you take a look at the Farmacy website, it’s absolutely stunning. The site is colorful, dynamic, and the nature photography is beautiful and lush. Their product presentation is just as impressive and thoughtful. Clean simplistic white bottles with delicate botanical labels and dark wood lids that add contrast. The wood accents are a reminder of the rich earth in which the key ingredients were cultivated. Boxed products are neatly packaged with the core botanical ingredients pictured on the front in bright colors against a stark white background. It’s beautiful simplicity.
Who and What is Behind Farmacy Beauty?
Mark Veeder, co-founder of Farmacy Beauty, is the developer of a patent protected form of Echinacea. This plant is a unique variant of Echinacea Purpurea which contains the highest known concentration of photochemical Cichoric Acid. This key ingredient is known as GreenEnvy™. That’s a lot of scientific terms to take in so let’s simplify. In a nutshell, the plant contains a very potent natural antioxidant that protects your skin and keeps it firm by impeding the enzymes that break down collagen. Veeder, a scientist, has partnered with farming expert, Robert Beyfuss, to cultivate this unique plant in upstate New York. Together, this duo is producing beautiful products and becoming well known and impressive contributors to the betterment of their community. Veeder and Beyfuss are bringing a fresh perspective to natural beauty products and it’s exciting to see these products and concept coming to market in the U.S.

Coconut Mask Retail price: $24 for 3 Pack
Hydrating Coconut Gel Masks Overview
There are six masks available to choose from, all offering different benefits for the skin:
- Soothing (Activated by Mineral-rich Kale Extract)
- Anti-Wrinkle (Activated by Vitamin A-rich Rhubarb Extract)
- Brightening (Activated by Antizyme-rich Purple Broccoli Extract)
- Firming (Activated by Flavonoid-rich Celery Extract)
- Oil Control (Activated by Lycopene-rich Carrot Extract)
- Deep Moisture (Activated by Vitamin C-rich Cucumber Extract)
The masks are sheet masks that fit over your face with cut outs for your eyes, nose, and mouth. The finely spun sheet is saturated in a coconut gel which provides hydration and restores skin balance. The sheet releases the beneficial ingredients to the skin’s surface layers. All the masks are formulated to improve radiance and moisture through the use of the coconut gel and unique Echinacea. Each mask is formulated with additional botanicals and/or vitamins to help resolve specific skin concerns.
The products contain no artificial colors, parabens, or formaldehyde.
Soothing Coconut Gel Mask Review
I tested the Soothing Coconut Gel Hydrating Mask and I really enjoyed it! I definitely noticed increased hydration and firming immediately after using the mask. Aside of the key ingredients in all the masks, the Soothing mask contains Vitamin A and kale extract. The kale helps to rebalance stressed skin and Vitamin A helps restore the the oil and water balance. This a perfect Sunday Spa treatment! (You know how I always do my special Spa Sundays!)
The mask is very cool and refreshing when it’s first applied and for an even more soothing effect, I kept mine in the refrigerator prior to using it. The first step is to clean and tone your skin and then the mask can be applied. The sheet mask is between a light blue film and a papery sheet that is removed once the mask is in place. After removing the mask from the package and unfolding it, I removed the blue film and pressed the clear sheet film onto my face. Then I removed the papery sheet and was left with a very thin film on my skin. The film is very wet from the coconut gel but as time passes, the film shrinks and tightens and becomes dry. The instructions indicate to wear the mask for 20-25 minutes. I wore it for 25 minutes until it was completely dry. Once it was dry, I peeled off the mask and it was as if I was removing a layer of dead skin. It reminded me of peeling skin after a sunburn. It’s a fun moment. You know how you can’t resist to peel those pieces off!
I’d recommend being cautious and not getting the mask onto the hair line as it’s a little more difficult to remove from that area. Otherwise, the mask will come off in one piece. My skin felt soothed and hydrated and bit firmer. Inside the package, there is extra coconut gel which I rubbed onto my skin after removing the mask prior to going to sleep. This product is ideal for sensitive skin and does not clog pores. The gel feels very light and fresh and the scent is natural and mild.
My overall opinion is very positive. The packaging, all natural ingredients, and research that has gone into these new products is exceptional. I would be very interested in trying additional products in the line. I am particularly interested in the Lip Blooms and the New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains products. All the products are priced reasonably considering the quality and research that goes into producing the products. The initial release has a comprehensive offering of skin care products and I’m hoping to see more from this company as research and innovation continues. I would definitely purchase these masks and continue using them on my weekly pampering days.
