While I’ve made every attempt to hold off on buying more eye palettes this year, I couldn’t resist the Estee Edit Gritty & Glow Magnetic Eye and Face Palettes. I was standing before the display in Sephora trying to decide which one of the two palettes I should get and then realized both palettes were included in the package. That made the decision for me and we have yet another palette purchase! How could I pass up such a great value? ($58 USD).
The Estee Edit Gritty & Glow Magnetic Eye and Face Palettes are a limited edition set of two magnetic palettes with 12 beautiful, velvety, ultra-pigmented, highly pearlized shades. The eye shadows have a glistening sheen but there’s no glitter fall-out. The formula has tiny pearl particles that create a glistening effect. The shadows are absolutely gorgeous and I was intrigued with the palette because the colors were not like shades I had in other palettes.

Estee Edit Gritty & Glow Palettes Review
Everything about these palettes is just perfect. The glittery packaging is really pretty and palettes have a solid feel to them. Each one secures with a magnetic closure. Both palettes are in mirrored compacts and are magnetic so they can stick together and make travel and storage easy. Estee Lauder has provided about 4g of each product in the pan and that’s a significant amount. Usually, palettes have 1 -2g of each product.
The formula of these powders is outstanding. They are all intensely pigmented with gorgeous shimmer and dimension. The versatility is wonderful. The Glow Face palette looks equally beautiful on eyes and face. The Gritty Palette has very eye catching shades. It’s not the kind of eye palette you can create a full look from, but rather a palette you can turn to on a regular basis to add more dimension or something flashy to your eye look. You would still need some transition shades to create a complete eye look unless you do a monochrome look. I love greens shadow and the shade, Wavy, is my favorite in this set. Although, every shade is quite beautiful.
Depending on your skin tone, the shades in the Face Palette may be used as highlighters, bronzers, or blush. All the colors will work extremely well as eyeshadows. The deeper your skin tone the more you may reach for the deeper tones in the Face Palette. Estee Edit also recommends blending the shades together to create more shades and looks.
I couldn’t be happier I picked this set up at Sephora. It’s the first purchase I’ve made in the Estee Edit line! Loving it!
