The first day of winter is less than a month away! It’s time to get out your boots and snuggly clothes. I’m ready for hot cocoa, cozy fires, and plum lipstick shades. Are you in a warm and fuzzy mood? You will be in a minute because I have been discount shopping at Sierra Trading Post and have great stuff to share! If you haven’t visited this website, you need to! It’s a great outdoor apparel discount site but there’s much more than that available. They are selling tons of name brand products at highly discounted prices. There are so many things to choose from it will take you days to discover everything on their site. If you’re lucky, there’s a store new you!
Over the course of the last week, I’ve spent hours on line discount shopping. I’m looking for new winter boots and hiking shoes and I found all sorts of things and great prices at Sierra Trading Post. They have clothes, housewares, sporting goods, pet items, kids apparel, bedding, bath accessories, and there’s too much to list. Everything on the site is discounted. I thought I would share some of the adorable finds I found! I’ve also set up alerts on some products that I’m watching to see if the price drops, it goes on clearance, or a new color arrives. There’s a Zac Posen jacket I have my eye on!
Winter Essentials Discount Shopping: Boots and Shoes
This is one of my favorite finds! These ankle boots (or booties as we call them in Arizona) have soft wool felt up top and suede on the bottom. There is a zipper in the back with a small tassel pull. These are perfect to wear with skirts and tights! Also, a great shoe to wear to work. They can be dressed up or down. I’m in love with these! There’s also a cute multi-textile color available.
How cute are these? This is my other top find! These boots are embossed suede with a peep toe and stacked heel. Mine have not arrived yet but I’ve read that these are very comfortable and cushioned. I have a watch on these hoping they show up in black or gray because I want additional colors and styles. Love these!
TOMS Nepal Winter Boots $59.99
I have quite a few pairs of Uggs so I decided on this mid-height casual boot. Check out this pair of Uggs and these adorable slippers (but I have to stop somewhere) so I just admired the Uggs and slippers. There are some other really cute ones out there as well. The TOMS boots that I chose have a plush lining and a cozy, slipper quality to them. Perfect for cold and casual days. They are a mix of suede and fuzzy fabric. They also come in two other colors and some really cute pairs for kids.
Aerosoles Vitality Ankle Boots – Vegan Leather $69.00
I picked these out in black and gray. These ankle boots are faux leather and they also come in a mushroom/tan color. They have a soft fabric lining and a zipper on the inside of the boot for easy on-off. I like the cute stitching on the side and for $69.00, I couldn’t resist these. I haven’t purchased Aerosoles boots in the past but they are known for being super comfortable which makes them ideal for work.
I have been looking for a hiking and trail shoe now that Gigi (my little Yorkie) is out and about. We have tons of trails near our home and these are perfect all year around for easy hiking and rock trails. The Lowa hiking shoes are also waterproof and have stabilizing features. I have paid over $200.00 in the past for hiking shoes so these are a terrific find and they are super cute!
I couldn’t get hiking shoes without at least a pair of good socks so I found these for a really low price. I’ve bought SmartWool socks in the past and are great. They aren’t itchy and they are temperature regulating. Despite the fact they are wool, they can be worn in the summer and are light weight. Plus, they match my hiking shoes!
You might want these for your winters but I picked them up for winter and summer. In Phoenix, we get monsoon rains from July through September and it’s a must to be prepared when those hit. I couldn’t resist these Joules boots with the cute and cheery dog print. There are tons of other patterns available too. These are light weight with a fabric lining and adjustable fit and for $24.99, how could I resist?
A little discount shopping for the dog!
I couldn’t resist getting something for Gigi. She needs to be warm this winter especially when she’s out walking on the trails with me. She has a few outfits but no dog sportswear. This is her first! This little puppy coat is fleece-lined and has light insulation. For less than $10.00, I couldn’t resist.
There are thousands of products available on Sierra Trading Post at discounted prices. They have daily specials to watch. It’s fun to just browse through everything. It’s like walking the aisles of a huge store from your sofa and it’s well organized so it’s easy to search. I spot new arrivals on the site almost daily. I’m heading back in the next week for stocking stuffers and holiday gifts.
